Future Projects

 

I’ve been part of the CBPI group on Fartbook for several years now and there are several ideas gleaned from conversations on there that I hope to turn into useful homebrewing accessories.

Wildisland CBPI controller expansion hat

My first project will be an expansion hat for the WildIsland controller.  It was inspired from the realisation that I had no expansion on the board for specialised peripherals.

This hat will replace the 40 wire flat cable and expand out the I2C and SPI busses.  Planning to  add a GPIO expansion on this, still absorbing the spec sheet.  It will be a PCF8574 8 port GPIO expansion as there’s already a CBPI4 plugin for it.
